chimay chic

after months of planning in advance i had a really nice and relaxing weekend in belgium, catching up with good friends goncalo and andreia, volodj and maria...instead of staying in brussels we hired a car and went down into some caves, near rocherfort...i was very impressed by my friends' french skills....although even they weren't able to translate the jokes that the tour guide made about my constantly loud sneezing through out the caves :)

to top off the evening we went to a baroque classical concert in a chateau in chimay...along with the prince and princess who own the chateau and humbly invited us into their place for the show

after some drinks on saturday night and nice brunch on sunday it was back on the train to amsterdam....really nice weekend...great to see andreia and goncalo set up in brussels and see new parts of belgium....well worth the wait :)
